The Council to Homeless Persons in partnership with the Victorian Council of Social Service is holding a forum focussing on Human Rights & Homelessness, exploring the theme : ‘Using Human Rights as an advocacy tool for ending homelessness: ‘doing rights’ in casework, organisational change and law reform’.
Join us to explore how human rights can be used as an advocacy tool to end homelessness through:
· better outcomes for individuals;
· supporting practice and systems change in order to imbed a human rights culture in policy and practice in community sector organisations;
· ensuring increased consumer participation; and
· achieving policy and legislative change.
